WPP and BigCommerce Partner to Enhance Global Ecommerce Offerings

WPP and BigCommerce partner to offer omnichannel solutions, enabling clients to maximize sales across various advertising channels and marketplaces.

WPP, the world’s largest marketing and communications services company, is strengthening its commerce and payment solutions offerings through new partnerships with BigCommerce and Stripe. In a recent announcement, WPP and BigCommerce revealed a strategic partnership to develop omnichannel solutions that help WPP clients drive growth and maximize sales across hundreds of advertising channels and marketplaces.

The partnership gives WPP priority access to new product tools on both BigCommerce and data feed management platform Feedonomics, along with APIs and data sets that enable WPP agencies to develop unique insights for clients across product, trend, and purchasing data. BigCommerce, in turn, will provide WPP with priority access to alpha and beta products, as well as platform integrations with Amazon, Meta, Google, and TikTok, to maximize omnichannel sales and optimize spend for both B2C and B2B clients.

WPP is also helping to shape product development and innovation at BigCommerce. Commerce specialists from WPP will join product and partner councils, receive access to a custom training program, and have certification pathways available to them. WPP has also committed to upskilling 150 commerce specialists within the first year of working with BigCommerce.

This partnership follows WPP’s recent investment in developing commerce and payment solutions with Stripe, a leading financial infrastructure platform. WPP has become a Consulting Partner within the Stripe Partner Ecosystem, which provides a comprehensive package of resources and access to industry-leading consulting firms. By partnering with both Stripe and BigCommerce, WPP is strengthening its position as a leader in commerce services and demonstrating its commitment to providing clients with innovative solutions that enable them to succeed in the modern business landscape.
