When will Squid Game Season 3 be released?
Although there’s no estimated release date yet, Season 3 is expected to arrive on Netflix sometime in 2025.
The show’s creator and director, Hwang Dong-hyuk, confirmed that he wrote Seasons 2 and 3 simultaneously. Both were produced at the same time, and the third installment is now in post-production, meaning it’s just a matter of months before it’s ready to premiere.

What will Squid Game Season 3 be about?
An official synopsis has not been released yet; however, the third season will continue the story of Seong Gi-hun.
Additionally, it will reveal what happens on the island after the participants’ rebellion, where the protagonist Gi-hun failed in his attempt to destroy the games from within.
The rebellion brought about tragic consequences, claiming the lives of several allies, including his close friend Jung-bae. This event left many questions unanswered about the future of the games and the fate of the survivors.
Furthermore, it will be crucial to continue the investigative storyline to locate the hidden island, especially after the infiltrator was exposed.

Will there be more seasons of Squid Game?
If you’re hooked on the first two seasons of the series, we have bad news for you. In August, the director published an emotional letter to fans announcing that the third season would be the final installment of Squid Game.
“I’m thrilled to write this letter to announce the release date of the second season and share news of the third, the final season. The fierce clash between the two worlds will continue in the series finale with the third season, coming next year,” he wrote.
