Michelle Trachtenberg, an actress known for her iconic roles in the series Gossip Girl and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, passed away this Wednesday. Her body was found in her apartment in New York, as reported by local police.
According to reports, it was the actress’s mother who found her unconscious in one of the rooms of her apartment, located near the Columbus Circle area. Shortly after 8 a.m., she made a call to 911 for emergency assistance.
Paramedics arrived at the apartment shortly afterward to attend to Trachtenberg; however, she showed no signs of life and was declared dead.

The cause of her death has not been revealed yet, although local authorities stated that Michelle Trachtenberg’s body showed no signs of violence, meaning her death is not considered suspicious, and it is not being investigated as a homicide.
Close sources to the actress recently revealed that she had undergone a liver transplant and had reportedly experienced complications, leading to the belief that her death was due to natural causes. However, an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of her death.
