Frozen is one of the children’s movies that has captivated both young and old. Since the first movie, it became one of the favorites in Disney’s collection, and now everyone is eagerly waiting for the release of Frozen 3 to learn more about Elsa and Anna’s adventures.

When will Frozen 3 be released in theaters?
Although it was initially said to be in 2026, according to Disney’s announcement, the release of Frozen 3 is scheduled for 2027, specifically on November 24th (the same month as the first two), so there are still more than two years left before we can see the film in theaters worldwide.
In the meantime, you can watch the first two movies, as well as the shorts that have spun off from the story, on the streaming platform Disney Plus.
What will Frozen 3 be about?
The plot of the third movie is still a mystery, as Disney has not revealed the synopsis. However, the producer recently presented a conceptual art image in which Elsa and Anna are seen riding horses.
The sisters are in a forest, at the edge of a river, and in the water, the shadow of a horned figure is reflected, suggesting that this could be the new villain they will have to face, though it’s unclear whether this will take place in Arendelle or a distant kingdom.
Jennifer Lee, co-director and screenwriter of the previous films, confirmed that she will not be participating in Frozen 3, so the pacing of the story may change.
Is Honeymaren Elsa’s girlfriend in Frozen 3?
After being introduced in Frozen 2, fans of the story have fantasized about Honeymaren (a member of the Northuldra tribe) being Elsa’s girlfriend, as many theories have emerged regarding the mysterious queen’s sexual orientation.
However, let’s be clear: Disney hasn’t hinted at anything suggesting Elsa could have a girlfriend… but they haven’t denied it either. So, fans might be in for a surprise.
When will Frozen 3 be available on Disney Plus?
If the movie is released in theaters in November 2027, it is expected that the film will be available on the streaming platform sometime in 2028.
Will there be a Frozen 4?
