Good news for Warby Parker customers! The eyewear brand will soon be available at Target, following an agreement between the two companies to partner and bring their products to consumers. Here’s everything you need to know.
When will Warby Parker eyewear be available at Target?
According to both brands, Warby Parker eyewear will arrive at Target stores during the second half of 2025.
Which Target stores will carry Warby Parker eyewear?
This year, five Warby Parker locations will open in areas where there is no Target Optical store. These will be located in the following places:
- Illinois
- Minnesota
- New Jersey
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
Warby Parker employees will be responsible for running these stores, where customers will find eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses, in addition to having eye exams. The eyewear company will also debut on Target’s website, and it’s expected that more physical stores will open in 2026.

Why will Warby Parker sell eyewear at Target?
According to Target’s press release, this partnership reflects the commitment of both brands to style, affordability, quality, and comfort. It will also complement Target’s optical business, which is offered in more than 500 of the nearly 2,000 Target stores currently in operation.
“As we test and learn from this new partnership, which incorporates the Warby Parker experience into select stores, we are encouraging new guests to discover more about Target,” said Christina Hennington, Target’s Executive Vice President of Strategy and Growth.
On the other hand, Dave Gilboa, co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker, mentioned that for the company, this partnership reflects the need and desire to meet customers in an entirely new retail format that brings comprehensive vision care offerings—ranging from prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses to eye exams—to more people across the country.
Target Partnerships
In recent years, Target has focused on innovation through a series of strategic partnerships. Last Wednesday, the company announced a collaboration with Champion, which will bring the sportswear and merchandise brand back to its stores and website after a five-year hiatus.
Additionally, in January of this year, Target introduced Peloton’s clothing line to its offerings, and previously, in 2022, it struck a deal with FAO Schwarz to sell toys both in its physical stores and online.
Warby Parker’s Sales Increase
This Thursday, the eyewear store released its latest earnings report, revealing net revenues of $190.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2024, representing a 17% increase. Meanwhile, its annual revenues rose by 15.2%, reaching $771.3 million. In terms of active customers, the company recorded 2.5 million, an approximate increase of 8%. Each customer, on average, spent $307.
Given this outlook, the store is considering opening 45 more branches in different locations across the United States. It currently operates 276 locations.

The cost of the frames depends on the materials they are made from and the specifications required by each customer’s prescription. Generally, the total price for frames with single-vision lenses ranges from $95 to $195.
