Aviation accidents in 2025
This helicopter crash adds to other incidents that occurred in the first two months of the year in the United States. On February 10, two private planes collided at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona, resulting in at least one death and several injuries.
Earlier, on January 31, a Mexican-registered medical air ambulance crashed in Philadelphia, killing all six people aboard and one person on the ground. One of the victims was a child who had traveled to the United States for medical treatment.
Additionally, on January 29, a commercial airplane and a U.S. military helicopter collided near Washington Airport, causing 67 deaths. Authorities are investigating the causes of these aviation accidents, although in some cases, errors during maneuvers are not ruled out as potential causes.
