The product in question is the “Berry Buddies, Berries & Pancakes” from Naturipe Value Added Fresh, based in Alma, Georgia. The company has recalled 694 boxes of these snacks, which were sold in plastic packaging weighing 2.1 oz./60 grams.
The product, marked with lot number 1097901 and an expiration date of 02/25/2025, is generally found in the refrigerated section of stores, in the produce or deli departments.

Why were Naturipe’s breakfast snack packs recalled?
According to the FDA, the recall was issued because the snacks contain wheat and eggs, which were not declared on the packaging label. This poses a health risk to individuals who are allergic to these ingredients.
The issue was traced to a label change error during production, although the company has since corrected it for new batches.
