What will Squid Game 3 be about?
The second season of Squid Game ended with a failed rebellion led by Gi-hun, which left behind a tragic number of victims. Now, with no other choice, Gi-hun will have to return to the terrifying competition, where Cheol-su, the companion of the unsettling doll that has been iconic in both previous seasons, will make an appearance.
Meanwhile, the leader of the game has stopped infiltrating among the participants and will return to his role as the main figure at the head of the organization. Gi-hun, unaware, believes the leader died during the rebellion, but it’s only a matter of time before that perception changes during the third season.
Since Hwang In-ho chose not to eliminate Gi-hun, it seems likely that the remaining players will manage to survive and that the games will continue, considering there are still three challenges left to complete.
The main question lies in Gi-hun’s future, who is now without the support of his loyal friend Jung-bae and cannot rely on Hwang In-ho, who is no longer infiltrated as a false participant.
