Tesla has launched an exclusive, limited-edition mezcal. This mezcal honors the rich artisanal tradition of Oaxaca, using a tahona in the grinding process. The distillation is done in a copper pot still, which allows the fusion of the flavors of the native agaves Espadín and Bicuishe.
The mezcal is made from agaves, succulent plants cultivated specifically for this purpose. The hearts of the agaves, known as piñas, are harvested, cooked, and fermented to extract their juice. The tahona, a circular stone, is used to crush these hearts. The pot still, on the other hand, is a copper distiller that purifies and concentrates the mezcal during the distillation process.
The result is a mezcal with a complex profile, both delicate and spicy. When smelled, intense citrus and green apple aromas emerge, followed by soft herbal notes. A smoky touch lingers on the palate, complemented by a finish with hints of tuberose, jasmine, and chamomile. The flavor culminates in a smooth, velvety sensation, perfectly balanced.

Tesla Beer and Tequila
The launch of the mezcal is not Tesla’s first foray into alcoholic beverages. Before this, the company introduced Cyberbeer, a beer inspired by the design of the Cybertruck, as well as a tequila presented in an exclusive decanter.
Cyberbeer is available in the Tesla online store for $150. This limited-edition package includes two 330 ml bottles and two black ceramic mugs that evoke the Cybertruck’s exoskeleton.
Only available for U.S. consumers, this beer is produced and bottled in California by Buzzrock Brewing Co. It is a Helles Lager made with noble European hops like Saaz and Hallertau Mittlefruh, with an alcohol content of 7%.
The bottles feature a Cyberbeer watermark that becomes visible when chilled. The mugs, fired and glazed to resemble the Cybertruck’s design, have a shiny interior and, of course, feature the Tesla logo.
In the product description on the store, it is highlighted that the flavor profile is marked by herbal and spicy notes, with aromas of tea and citrus.
