Good news for Sonic fans! The fast-food chain has announced the launch of a new menu, which will be available at all franchise locations in the United States. Here’s what’s included and everything you need to know, so you don’t miss the chance to try it. Take note!
What is the new Sonic menu?
The introduction of two new Jr. Chicken sandwiches to their $1.99 menu:
- Original Jr. Chicken Sandwich: Topped with shredded lettuce and mayonnaise.
- Honey Chipotle Jr. Chicken Sandwich: Topped with honey chipotle aioli, shredded lettuce, and tomatoes.
The $1.99 menu also includes the following items:
- Cheese Wraps, available in Bacon Ranch and Southwest Crunch
- French Toast Sticks
- Small Groovy Fries
- Small Floats, including Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Barq’s Root Beer, and Fanta

New Sonic Sauces
In addition to the two new Jr. Chicken sandwiches, the fast-food chain also announced the addition of two new sauce flavors to their lineup, perfect for dipping while enjoying a combination of spicy, sweet, and creamy flavors:
- Jalapeño Ranch: Combines ranch dressing with a spicy touch of green jalapeños to create a hot, herbaceous, and creamy sauce experience.
- Asian-Style Sweet Chili: Balances spicy and sweet flavors with notes of soy sauce, sesame, garlic, and ginger.
“Our customers love customization, and the new Jalapeño Ranch and Asian-Style Sweet Chili sauces let them try different flavor combinations that suit their tastes,” said Mackenzie Gibson, Vice President of Culinary Innovation and Menu at Sonic, in the press release.
Ranch, honey mustard, and BBQ sauces have also been revamped to make them bolder! So now, you’ll have a fresh and enhanced sauce selection to enjoy with your sandwiches or wraps.
New Strawberry Mangonada Slush from Sonic
Recently, Sonic launched a new slush inspired by the traditional Mexican mangonada. This sweet-and-sour slush has a hint of Tajín Clásico Chili and Lime seasoning. The new drink offers a sweet and tangy flavor with the perfect spicy kick.
The Strawberry Mangonada Slush is priced starting at just $2.99 for a medium size and will be available at participating locations for a limited time, so hurry up and grab yours before they run out!
