The victim, identified as Jane Doe, also accuses Shannon of using physical force against her and causing her emotional distress, seeking $50 million in damages.
According to court records, Jane first met Sharpe in 2023 at a gym in Los Angeles. At the time, she was 20 years old, and the two began a relationship that lasted almost two years. Now, the woman accuses the 56-year-old Sharpe of raping her in October 2024 and again in January 2025.

In the lawsuit, the victim also stated that Sharpe recorded their intimate encounters without her consent and that his behavior became increasingly abusive, verbally controlling, and violent, even threatening to kill her. In response, the former NFL player has maintained that the relationship was consensual and described the lawsuit as a “shameless and cynical attempt to extort him” for millions of dollars.
