Oscars 2025: this is the COMPLETE list of nominees

This Thursday, from the iconic Samuel Goldwyn Theater of the Academy, actors, writers, and comedians Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang announced live the nominees for the Oscars 2025. Members from the Academy’s 19 branches participated in the voting to select the nominees in each category. Here are all the details.

Emilia Pérez made history by becoming the non-English language film with the most nominations, earning a total of 13. The previous record, with 10 nominations each, was held by Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) and Roma (2018).

Additionally, Emilia Pérez and I’m Still Here joined the exclusive list of non-English language films nominated simultaneously for Best International Feature Film and Best Picture, becoming the tenth and eleventh films to achieve this distinction. So far, Parasite (2019) remains the only film to win both categories.

The nominees in the categories of Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature Film, and Best Picture are yet to be finalized. According to the award rules, a producer can only be recognized as a nominee for a film if they have been deemed eligible for a Producers Guild of America (PGA) award for the film or have successfully appealed the PGA’s decision of ineligibility. The remaining Oscar nominees will be announced in early February.
