What is Monster Hunter Wilds like?
This new video game, which you can play solo or with friends, is the most evolved action and the best immersion of any Monster Hunter installment to date.
It features dynamic, constantly changing environments. A story of monsters and humans in a world with two faces: one where the territory is harsh and ruthless, where monsters fight for scarce resources, and another where the land is prosperous and brimming with life.
In this game, you become a monster hunter whose mission is to eliminate creatures to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. You will use the resources you gain from your hunts to create increasingly powerful weapons and armor, which will help you explore and uncover the secrets of new territories.
This new version of Monster Hunter offers you the option to choose from 14 types of weapons from the start, including swords, ranged weapons, and devastating lethal tools, which you can constantly switch throughout the game.
As you progress through the missions, you will gather materials to upgrade your weapons. Additionally, you will have items like traps and a new attack mechanic called “Focus Mode,” which will allow you to target specific areas of enemies to deal more damage.
Will Monster Hunter Wilds come to Nintendo Switch?
No. The Capcom video game will not be released on Nintendo Switch and will instead focus solely on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
