JCPenney’s Black Friday ad will go live
JCPenney will offer customers early access to hundreds of Black Friday discounts starting on November 1 to let them get a head start on their shopping at a great price. That will help customers plan their strategy for the busiest shopping month of the year. JCPenney’s complete Black Friday ad will also go live online the same day and remain accessible throughout the month.
JCPenney will remain closed on Thanksgiving
For the third year in a row, JCPenney will be closed on November 24, Thanksgiving Day, to allow customers and employees to spend the holiday with their families while still taking advantage of the discounts since JCPenney.com is open 24/7.
Black Friday will begin in-store savings when stores open at 5 a.m., bringing back the fun of Christmas shopping with loved ones and the well-known Black Friday discounts. Most of these deals are the same ones that have endured through the years (and inflation). However, JCPenney will hand out special in-store coupons at the door for super shoppers who are first in line. These discounts may be combined with the already low Black Friday rates.
Customers will have even more shopping options online with convenient shipping and pickup alternatives because of the expanded hours throughout the season.
Families have a chance to win $500 to clear their carts
Customers can enter the “We Got Your Cart Sweepstakes” from November 8 through January 2 to win $500 to empty their carts. WeGotYourCart.com users who post their receipts online will be entered into drawings to win a gift card valued up to $500 throughout the season!

In Black Friday advertisements that incorporate a jingle, consumers will sing throughout the aisles as Melissa Villaseor resumes her role as “Penny James” with special singing guests, “The Shopettes.
Backstreet is back, which is the biggest surprise of the season. The JCP Live Holiday Spectacular, a Facebook Live event hosted by the Backstreet Boys, is how JCPenney will start the holiday season. The music video for their new song, “Christmas in New York,” off their first-ever Christmas album, “A Very Backstreet Christmas,” was released on October 14.
Besides buying their new album online, fans can also ask the Backstreet Boys holiday-related questions, gain access to special deals and freebies, donate to a charity partner, and sing along with them all through the performance. With additional special appearances, including one by Melissa Villaseor, the holiday cheer simply keeps coming!
