Apart from Starbucks, where else can I get coffee?

If you’re someone who can’t live without coffee and, unfortunately, the Starbucks mobile app isn’t working, don’t worry! There are other coffee shops in the U.S. where you can also place orders.

Here are some options:

  • Dunkin’ Donuts: This coffee chain has over 11,500 locations in more than 35 countries, with 8,500 of them in the U.S. They also offer their traditional donuts on the menu.
  • Tim Hortons: You can find lattes for as low as $2.49, making their prices more affordable than Starbucks. Additionally, the chain runs a program where they give away coffee to Canadian customers.
  • Folgers: Specializing in ground coffee, Folgers also offers lower prices than Starbucks.
  • Costa Coffee: In addition to coffee, they offer lunch packages for £5, which include drinks.
  • McDonald’s: Through its McCafé brand, McDonald’s directly competes with Starbucks, offering coffee for just $1, attracting many customers.

How much does Starbucks coffee cost?

Starbucks’ menu features a variety of beverages, such as the Caffe Latte, which comes in three sizes: Tall ($2.95), Grande ($3.65), and Venti ($4.15). For those who enjoy sweeter drinks, the White Chocolate Mocha is a popular choice, priced at $3.75 for Tall, $4.45 for Grande, and $4.75 for Venti.

How can I pay less at Starbucks?

While coffee is the perfect companion to start your day and stay alert at work, sometimes there’s just no time to make it at home.

Buying coffee every day can get expensive, so here are some tips to help you save money when ordering at Starbucks:

  • Bring your own cup and ask them to serve your drink in it, and you’ll get a discount, regardless of the size of your drink.
  • By joining the My Starbucks Rewards program, you can enjoy benefits like a free drink on your birthday (any size and flavor) and free refills on brewed coffee throughout the day.
  • If you want a croissant with water, you don’t need to buy a bottled water. Just ask for a cup of water in any size (Tall, Grande, or Venti), and it will be free.
  • When ordering an iced drink, ask for the ice to be served separately, as the ice tends to take up space and reduce the amount of drink you get.
  • If you want a little extra milk in your tall drink, ask them to serve it in a grande cup so you won’t get less coffee due to leaving room for the extra milk.
  • If you’re opting for a venti latte or cappuccino for the caffeine boost, consider ordering a grande, as both sizes contain the same amount of caffeine (150 mg); the only difference is the amount of milk and foam.
  • If you’re a fan of iced tea, ask for it without extra water to get a more concentrated and flavorful taste.
  • If you’re planning to work for a while in one of their comfortable chairs, order a French press, which will provide several cups. This way, you’ll spend less and generate less waste compared to ordering individual cups.
