The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant chain has announced its expansion plans for 2025, aiming to open 60 new restaurants across the United States and reach 1,000 locations by 2032. Here’s where the new restaurants will be located, so you can see if one will be opening near you.
Where Will the New Cava Restaurants Open?
Cava began its expansion in 2024, opening 58 new locations that year. For 2025, the company plans to open restaurants in Florida, Indianapolis, Detroit, and Pittsburgh, and has already opened several locations in the first few months of the year.

According to the company, the new openings are scheduled for later this year.

Cava is a fast-casual restaurant chain in the United States that focuses on delivering authentic flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. It was founded by three friends—Ike Grigoropoulos, Dimitri Moshovitis, and Ted Xenohristos—who share Greek roots and a deep connection to the culinary traditions of their families. The founders built the concept on the belief that healthy eating is not only good for the body, but can also be flavorful and comforting. How Many Cava Restaurants Are There in the U.S.?
Currently, the company operates approximately 367 restaurants across 26 states and the District of Columbia.
What is Cava Rewards?
Cava Rewards is the company’s loyalty program. By joining, you can earn 10 points for every $1 spent and use those points to get delicious food rewards. You can also complete various challenges to earn additional points and benefits. Simply log into your account at cava.com, catering.cava.com, or the app to earn points with every order.
You can use your rewards online or in-store. Once you redeem your points for a reward, it will appear in the “My Rewards” section of your account. In the restaurant, apply your reward by scanning the QR code in the app when paying or by providing your phone number and telling the team member which reward you want to use.
When paying online or through the app, add the item to your cart before checking out. You can apply your reward at the checkout page. Please note that your points expire six months after your last order, but as long as you keep earning, your points will remain active.
