The new Lilo & Stitch live action movie is about to hit the big screen. Disney’s film will star Maia Kealoha and Sydney Agudong, who will play the sisters Lilo and Nani, respectively.

Who is Sydney Agudong?
Sydney Agudong was born on November 13, 2000, on the island of Kaua’i, Hawaii. She is a talented actress and writer, known for her roles in productions like On My Block (2018), Infamously in Love (2022), and West Michigan (2021).
She’s not the only artist in her family; her younger sister, Siena Agudong, also follows the same career. Siena has been featured in the Nickelodeon series Star Falls, as well as the movie Alex & Me and the Disney Channel original movie, Upside-Down Magic. She has also appeared in Netflix’s Resident Evil adaptation.

Before being chosen to play Nani in the live-action version of Lilo & Stitch, Sydney Agudong had worked on various projects, including NCIS and the independent film At Your Feet.
In terms of professional representation, Agudong is represented by the agency AEFH, Trilogy Talent Management, Inc., and has the backing of attorney Howard Fishman from HWHM+F. Locally in Hawaii, she is represented by the Kathy Muller Agency.
New Lilo & Stitch live action trailer
This Wednesday, Disney surprised Lilo & Stitch fans by releasing a new trailer that gives a preview of what to expect from the live-action movie. In the 2:25-minute video, we see little Lilo wishing for a best friend.
Suddenly, Lilo looks up at the sky and sees what appears to be a bright (and huge) shooting star, so she doesn’t hesitate to make a wish… which comes true, as she soon meets Stitch, a cute, sweet, and fluffy blue alien.
