Promotions have become a key tool in brand marketing strategies. From discounts to loyalty programs and limited-time offers, companies aim to attract and retain customers in an increasingly competitive market. A recent example is Burger King, which is offering cheeseburgers for just $1.
Consumers are often drawn to promotions that provide added value. According to Statista data on consumer behavior, discounts and special offers create a sense of urgency that drives immediate purchases. In the case of loyalty programs or rewards, the relationship between the brand and the customer is strengthened, encouraging repeat purchases and long-term loyalty.
Promotions also influence the perception of a product or service. A reduced price can encourage a consumer to try a new brand, while promotional bundles can increase the total purchase value. In industries such as retail, technology, and food, these strategies are crucial for increasing inventory turnover and capturing new market segments.
Burger King’s Latest Promotion
In a new move to capture consumer attention, Burger King is offering cheeseburgers for just $1—but fans need to act fast.
From now until February 2, the fast-food chain is celebrating $1 Cheeseburger Week, and Royal Perks members can get one through the BK app.
The announcement was made in a post on X, where the chain suggested that customers “treat themselves” to the deal every day as a way to “beat the seasonal blues.”
Consumers quickly reacted to the tweet:
“Wow, McDonald’s could never,” one person responded.
“A dollar for a cheeseburger? Not bad for a king,” another joked.
This announcement comes amid an ongoing fast-food deals war, with McDonald’s recently launching a new budget menu while hopes for the return of its iconic Dollar Menu continue to fade.
However, Burger King’s latest deal isn’t the only one on offer. Royal Perks members can also take advantage of National Croissant Day on Thursday, January 30, and get a Croissan’wich for just 1 cent with a purchase of $1 or more.
Additionally, Perks members can enjoy a limited-time $5 Duos and $7 Trios offer.
Available until spring, customers can choose two items for $5 or three items for $7.
The deal includes menu items such as Whopper Junior, Original Chicken Sandwich, Bacon Cheeseburger, Medium Fries, Eight-Piece Chicken Fries, and a Medium Soft Drink.
