What is a Lightning Lane?
A Lightning Lane is a fast access lane that helps reduce your wait time. While you still wait your turn, the line is much shorter and moves faster than the regular lines available to all visitors.
How many Lightning Lane passes does Disney World offer?
There are three passes to choose from:
- Individual
- Multiple
- Premier

What is an Individual Lightning Lane pass?
Individual Lightning Lane passes are customized options that allow you to quickly access the most popular attractions in each park. Each guest can purchase up to two individual Lightning Lane passes per day.
What is a Multiple Lightning Lane pass?
The Lightning Lane Multi Pass gives you access to all attractions with a Lightning Lane, except those requiring an individual pass. This pass has a specific cost depending on the park and allows you to reserve up to three attractions simultaneously. The first three can be scheduled before your visit.
What is a Premier Lightning Lane pass?
Premier passes are more expensive because they allow you to access any Lightning Lane within a park without needing to reserve times. You simply need to show up at the attraction. Additionally, this pass includes access to attractions that require an individual pass.
Currently, the Premier Pass is in a trial phase and is only available to guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, Shades of Green Resort, and Walt Disney World Dolphin, Swan, and Swan Reserve hotels. However, starting January 21, it will be available to the general public.
How much do Lightning Lane passes cost?
The prices for Lightning Lane passes vary depending on the type:
- Individual Passes: starting at $11
- Multiple Passes: starting at $15
- Premier Passes: starting at $119
When can the Lightning Lane passes be purchased at Disney World?
Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, Shades of Green Resort, and Walt Disney World Dolphin, Swan, and Swan Reserve hotels have the advantage of purchasing Lightning Lane passes up to seven days before their arrival. Additionally, they can buy all the necessary passes for each day of their stay, up to a maximum of 14 days.
On the other hand, other visitors can start purchasing their Lightning Lane passes three days before their visit to the park. Those with multi-day tickets based on a specific date can buy all their passes at the same time, three days before their first day in the park.
How much does it cost to enter Disney World?
Visitors have the option of purchasing a Magic Ticket valid for 4 days, which allows them to explore 4 different parks. The price starts at $119 per day plus tax, totaling $475 before taxes. This pass is available for use exclusively between January 5 and March 29, 2025.
What is included in the entry to Disney World?
The ticket must be used within 7 days from the selected start date. It provides access to the four Walt Disney World theme parks: Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Each entry allows visiting a different park on separate days, totaling 4 visits.
