Through their social media, the celebrities living in Pacific Palisades shared heartbreaking messages informing that they had lost their homes and reminiscing about the beautiful moments they spent with their families in those places.
One of them is Crystal, who lost the home she lived in with her wife Janice.
“Janice and I have lived in our home since 1979. We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every corner of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can never be taken away. We are, of course, devastated, but with the love of our children and friends, we will get through this,” she wrote.

Paris Hilton is also another celebrity affected. According to the entrepreneur, she found out about the loss of her home through live news while watching TV with her family.
“This house is where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a life full of memories with London,” she said.

Jeff Bridges and his brothers lost their family home in Malibu, which had belonged to their parents. The same happened to Spencer and Heidi Pratt.
In Altadena, Mandy Moore’s house was also completely destroyed. The actress shared a video on Instagram showing the devastated streets.
“Honestly, I’m in shock and feel numb by everything that so many have lost, including my family. My children’s school is gone. Our favorite restaurants, leveled. Many friends and loved ones have also lost everything,” she wrote alongside the clip.

The wildfires also destroyed the home of R&B singer Jhené Aiko, as well as that of actor Cary Elwes, who reported that both he and his family were safe, but their home in Pacific Palisades had been devastated.

After the wildfires in California, actress Jamie Lee Curtis committed to donating $1 million to create a support fund and help those affected by these disasters.
The celebrity was forced to evacuate her residence in Pacific Palisades, joining dozens of other celebrities who were impacted in Los Angeles County.
Where Are the Wildfires in California?
On Tuesday, January 7, when the emergency began, there were three fires. By Wednesday, four fires had broken out, and today, five wildfires are ravaging the state of California, especially Los Angeles County:
- Palisades: The fire is spreading along the coastal area between Malibu and Santa Monica.
- Eaton: This fire has already burned 4,290 hectares in Altadena.
- Hurst: The flames are spreading through the San Fernando Valley.
- Lidia: So far, the fire has already ravaged 140 hectares.
- Sunset: It began in Hollywood Hills and has covered around 17 hectares.
What Damage Have the Wildfires in California Caused?
Firefighters are trying to control the blaze at each of the five fire points, but although the winds have calmed down a bit, the flames are still uncontrollable.
More than 100,000 people have been evacuated from the most affected areas of each fire, and the number of evacuees is expected to rise in the coming hours. The Palisades and Eaton fires have destroyed nearly 2,000 structures and thousands of acres of land.
