This Tuesday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the Oscars shortlists in 10 categories for the 97th edition of the 2025 Academy Awards.

According to the Academy, voting for nominations will begin on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, and conclude on Sunday, January 12.
The list of nominees will be announced on Friday, January 17, 2025.
